It’s Monday Night Double Feature. So excited to play this twofer. First we have 1996’s Academy award wining documentary “When We Were Kings”. The story of the “Rumble in the Jungle” with Muhammed Ali and George Forman having their 1974 heavyweight clash in Zaire, Africa. For that heavyweight bout, they had also the Zaire 74 music festival. Many African American and multiracial artists from around the world took place, 2008’s “Soul Power” tells that story. We don’t have a food truck scheduled but our great friends at Fresco Pizzeria will deliver to us with no delivery charge. Movies start at 7pm.
